Clifton V. Weatherby passed away Wednesday July 18, 2012 at Eastwood Manor Nursing in Commerce, Oklahoma. He was 85.

He was born in Pryor, Oklahoma on April 21, 1927 to Jefferson and Winnie (Casey) Weatherby. He lived in the Miami area all his life. He worked and retired as a rubber worker from B.F. Goodrich. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He married Thena (Grayson) on December 25, 1949 in Harrison, Arkansas, she survives of the home and he loved to go crappie fishing with her. He was of the Lutheran faith and attended Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Miami, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his son Steven Weatherby and wife Alicia of, Miami, OK, his two daughters Sandy Todd and husband John of Alabama and Kim Smith and husband Robert of Gravette, Arkansas. He is also survived by his brother Paul Weatherby and wife Sally of Alabama, and seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:00am Saturday July 21, 2012 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Miami, Oklahoma. Rev. Leo Schroder will officiate. Interment will be in Fairland Lutheran Cemetery in Fairland, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Todd, Michael Weatherby, Kevin Smith, Tyler Smith, Robert Smith and Joey Bequette. Family will receive friends from 6-7pm on Friday at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Oklahoma.
