Obituary for Ruthie D. Ellison

Ruthie D. Ellison age 60, of Quapaw, Oklahoma passed away, Monday, March 11, 2019 at her home in Quapaw. She was born on July 29, 1958 in Leakey, Texas the daughter of Norval, Sr, and Virginia (Brock) Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Steve, of the home; a daughter Trina Kohley and her husband Kevin of Quapaw, Oklahoma, two sons, Brian Thomasson and his wife Nicole, of Wyandotte, Oklahoma and Trampass Thomasson, of Quapaw, Oklahoma and one brother, Norval Clark, Jr., of Miami, Oklahoma. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Ruthie D. Ellison will be held 9:00AM, Friday morning at the Eastern Shawnee Sandy Captain Building, Seneca, Oklahoma with Matt Robertson, officiating. Interment and Native American Rites will be conducted by Shawn King at Newman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Thomasson, Hunter Thomasson, Preston Thomasson, Ransom Thomasson, Kevin Kohley and Austin Thomasson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Kohley, Justin Kohley and Mason Shores. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Miami.
